Buddha Gaya
Date: February 2, 2025 Location: Maha Bodhi Society of India, Bodhgaya Center Collaboration: Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Myanmar Founder and esteemed monks members of The ASOKA Center of Buddhist Studies are honored to participate in the exposition of the sacred Buddha relics at the Maha Bodhi Society of India, Bodhgaya Center on February 2, 2025. This auspicious event is a collaborative effort between Buddhist communities from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, bringing monks, scholars, and devoted practitioners to pay homage to the sacred relics. In this ceremony, Research Scholars from RBBSU Ven. Kumarya, Ven. Adiccavamsa, and Ven. Candavara and M.A. final-year students—Ven. Cittita, Ven. Acara, and Ven. Varamainda, were engaged in scholarly discussions and spiritual reflections on the significance of the Buddha relics. This sacred relic exposition serves as a rare opportunity for devotees to deepen their connection with the Buddha’s teachings while strengthening ties between Buddhist communities worldwide.
